Robert Porchà was born into the hip hop scene. He grew up watching his dad and uncle’s beat boxing, and attempted to rap before he could walk. His dad, “Rock Box Senior,” was a renown artist in his community. Robert started writing lyrics at age sixteen. His biggest influences at the time were Tupac, Lauryn Hill, Common, and Andre 3000. He enjoyed being part of cyphers on the bus and in the school cafeteria. Robert started gaining a buzz and had a small local label reach out to him. He declined the contract at that time. Robert later moved to Miami, Florida where he began to develop himself as an artist and lyrisist. He teamed up with rap artist “Ofeshul,” and joined U.G.P. (Under God’s Power). Ofeshul taught him how to market product, perform, and construct an album. They made big traction and started to gain a buzz on YouTube and in the streets, but the group later split. Robert’s son was born, and he then moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he currently resides with family.

In his musical lifetime he got A thumbs up from DMX on his lyrisism, received invitations to perform in front of Rev. Run, and respects paid by Mike Will Made It on his production. He also worked on a latin pop song with Clay Ostwald (Engineer for latin pop legend Gloria Stephan’s “Sound Machine”). Robert entered into the film industry, and shot a few videos in Albuquerque, which got Jon Hamm’s attention. Hamm was interested in Robert working with Vez. Robert has since partnered with the Label P4P Entertainment as an Executive.
